Vilnius: A Psychogeographic Synthesis

This project investigates how urban identity can be co-created through emotion, narrative, and participation. Over two weeks, gallery visitors contributed text responses reflecting how they feel in specific places across Vilnius. These reflections were projected onto filmed cityscapes, transforming façades into emotional canvases. The work documents each contribution, forming a growing archive of subjective urban experience. Drawing from psychogeography, literature, and visual communication, the project reframes façades not as fixed messages but as blank pages for shared emotional storytelling – allowing the city to speak through its people, not its surfaces.
